Chinese Dissident Flees to South Korea by Jet Ski After Criticizing Xi Jinping

A Chinese man rode a jet ski nearly 200 miles across the Yellow Sea from China's Shandong province to South Korea.
The man is believed to be Kwon Pyong, a Chinese activist who was previously jailed for criticizing President Xi Jinping.
Kwon used binoculars, a compass, and trailing fuel canisters to navigate the 14-hour journey to Incheon.
South Korean authorities detained Kwon for illegally entering the country and he is considering seeking asylum.
Kwon participated in Hong Kong's pro-democracy protests and China imposed an exit ban on him.
