Guo's Valentine's Day post on the Chinese social media app Xiaohongshu received 120,000 likes in just 10 days, sparking widespread interest.
Millions viewed the hashtag #xiaogoushan on Weibo, with many tourists traveling to the site, some bringing their dogs for photos.
The mountain is visible from an observation deck in Yichang's Zigui County, with visitors expressing delight at the natural formation's unique charm.
