China Sets Tianjin SCO Summit for Aug. 31–Sept. 1 With Xi, Putin and Modi Attending

Beijing signals new SCO initiatives with a planned Tianjin declaration.

The leaders of more than 20 countries, including Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will attend the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Tianjin.
