Overview

  • Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met Taliban foreign minister Amir Khan Muttaqi and Pakistan’s Ishaq Dar in Kabul for a trilateral dialogue on political, economic and transit cooperation.

  • Beijing conveyed interest in Kabul’s formal participation in the Belt and Road Initiative, expanding the framework for future infrastructure and trade links.
