- Guildford Crown Court sentenced Israel Contreras to five years and three months, Eduardo Marquez to six years and nine months, and both Yeico Guzman Fernandez and Michael Carrasco to two years and nine months.
- The four targeted at least 11 homes between 3 November and 11 December 2024 in affluent areas of Surrey and London, posing as tourists and forcing entry to upper floors.
- Contreras was arrested on 5 December at Heathrow as he tried to board a flight to Chile after his phone and DNA tied him to multiple burglaries.
- Officers stopped a red Hyundai on Fulham Palace Road on 11 December, recovered jewellery, designer goods and tools, and detained Marquez, Fernandez and Carrasco after a failed attempt to ram free.
- Surrey Police said the men have been on remand since arrest and will face deportation after serving their sentences.
