Overview
- Recent surveys show Jeannette Jara leading first‑round intention at 27% in Criteria and 29.3% in Pulso Ciudadano, with José Antonio Kast second at 23% and 19.9% respectively.
 - Johannes Kaiser, Evelyn Matthei and Franco Parisi are clustered behind the frontrunners, with positions varying by poll and reinforcing expectations of a runoff if no candidate tops 50%.
 - Eight candidates are on the presidential ballot, including Jara (Unidad por Chile), Kast (Partido Republicano) and Matthei (UDI/Chile Vamos).
 - Voters will also renew all 155 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 23 of 50 Senate seats using Chile’s D’Hondt proportional system with open lists.
 - Chilean citizens abroad may vote in person on the presidential race only, with participation voluntary and administered through consulates.
