Overview
- The game pits a 5-2 Kansas City team trying to stop a two-game losing streak against a 2-6 New York side that has dropped three straight.
- The Jets ruled out top receiver Garrett Wilson with a concussion and downgraded Joseph Ossai, Nahshon Wright and VJ Payne to out late Saturday, shrinking their defensive depth.
- Running back Breece Hall practiced fully and is expected to return while the Jets elevated offensive tackle Brant Banks and linebacker Troy Reeder from the practice squad for added depth.
- CBS assigned its top broadcast team of Jim Nantz, J.J. Watt and Tracy Wolfson for the 3:25 p.m. CT kickoff, and the game will stream on NFL+ and Paramount+.
- Analysts favor the Chiefs by double digits, citing Arrowhead’s home-field edge and Kansas City’s need to fix penalties and its interior pass rush before the trade deadline.
