Raiders Seek to Break Chiefs' Dominance Despite Recent Record-Breaking Victory Over Chargers

The Chiefs could clinch their eighth consecutive AFC West title with a victory over the Raiders on Christmas Day, or a tie if the Broncos lose to the Patriots the previous night.
The Chiefs are also trying to secure the AFC’s No. 1 seed and lone first-round playoff bye, currently two games back of the Ravens and a game behind the Dolphins.
The Raiders, despite their 6-8 record, are coming off a record-breaking 63-21 victory over the Chargers, scoring a club-record 42 points in the first half.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is 10-1 in his career against the Raiders, and the Chiefs have won six straight times and 11 of the last 12 in the series.
Despite good starts in two of their last three games against Kansas City, the Raiders have failed to secure a victory, with the Chiefs rallying for wins in both cases.
