Chiefs' Chris Jones Out for Christmas Day Game Against Steelers

Kansas City will face Pittsburgh without their star defensive tackle as they aim to secure the AFC's top playoff seed.

Chris Jones, a five-time Pro Bowler, is inactive for the Chiefs' Christmas Day game due to a calf injury sustained last Saturday against the Texans.
The Chiefs, currently 14-1, can clinch the AFC’s No. 1 playoff seed with a win against the 10-5 Steelers, granting them a first-round bye in the playoffs.
Kansas City will also be without left tackle D.J. Humphries and nickelback Chamarri Conner, while right tackle Jawaan Taylor is expected to play despite a knee injury.
Jones’ absence leaves a significant gap in the Chiefs' defensive front, as he has been a key contributor with five sacks, 20 quarterback hits, and 37 tackles this season.
The Steelers, who are competing for the AFC North title, will also be missing key players, including cornerback Joey Porter Jr., in the matchup.
