- Congress leader P. Chidambaram said Pakistan’s signature shows the SCO statement fails to differentiate between terrorism exporters and victims.
- The Tianjin Declaration by SCO heads of state condemned the April 22 Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 civilians, and called for perpetrators, organisers and sponsors to be brought to justice.
