Overview

• The incident unfolded at about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 7100 block of South Harvard Avenue in Greater Grand Crossing.
• A 33-year-old woman allegedly stabbed a 1-year-old girl and two boys, ages 3 and 5, each in the right wrist with a sharp object.
• After the attack, the suspect delivered the injured children to St. Bernard Hospital, from which they were transferred to Comer Children’s Hospital in serious condition.
• Chicago Police encountered the woman at St. Bernard and took her into custody without disclosing her relationship to the victims.
