Chicago Unveils Details for 54th Pride Parade

More than 800,000 attendees are expected to gather under the 'United in Pride' banner

Overview

  • The parade will step off at 11 a.m. from Sheridan and Broadway and follow a 20-block route through Northalsted, east on Belmont, south on Broadway and east on Diversey to Cannon Drive.
  • Admission is free and no tickets are required.
  • The Chicago Police Department will deploy temporary route markers and set spectator crossover points at Addison and Halsted, Cornelia and Halsted, Buckingham and Halsted, Briar and Broadway and Wellington and Broadway for safety.
  • Wheelchair-accessible viewing areas and portable restrooms will be available near 600 W. Diversey Parkway.
  • The National Weather Service forecasts a high of 91 °F with a chance of showers after 1 p.m., prompting organizers to advise attendees to stay hydrated and pack rain gear.
