• Choose Chicago confirmed Navy Pier will host a special 15-minute fireworks show set to patriotic music at 10 p.m. on July 5 with no display on July 4
• Chicago and over 40 suburbs will stage July 4 parades in locations such as Hyde Park, Evanston and Mount Prospect, with most kicking off between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• More than 50 suburban fireworks displays will light up the Chicago region at dusk on July 4 in communities ranging from Aurora and Northbrook to Oak Lawn
• Itasca’s annual Fourth of July fireworks remain canceled for 2025 after village officials cited overcrowding, nearby construction and a 43 percent jump in the event budget
• In the Bay Area, San Francisco’s waterfront fireworks are set for 9:30 p.m. on July 4 while drone light shows and family festivals take place across South Bay, East Bay, North Bay and the Peninsula
