Overview
- Shortly before midnight Monday, three armed males exited a red SUV and opened fire at a crowd at a CTA stop in the 2800 block of West 63rd Street, police said.
- A 54-year-old woman was shot in the chest at the bus stop and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where she was listed in fair condition.
- The gunmen returned to the red SUV and fled, no arrests were reported, and Area One detectives are investigating.
- Separately Tuesday, a man was shot by Chicago police in the 5600 block of South Michigan Avenue in Washington Park and was transported in critical condition to University of Chicago Medical Center.
