- Chicago police issued a community alert after three women were sexually assaulted and robbed in separate incidents linked to an online dating app in Woodlawn.
- The attacks occurred on Oct. 3 and Oct. 17 in the 6400 block of South Ingleside Avenue and on Dec. 4 in the 6400 block of South Drexel Avenue.
- In each case, the man led the victim into an apartment, displayed a handgun, committed a sexual assault, and took personal property.
- Police said the offender also used the victims’ phones to transfer money from their bank accounts.
