Overview
- The group allegedly approached passengers on the Jackson Blue Line platform around 1:49 a.m. on Sept. 5 and took their property after a physical altercation.
- Police say the suspects include six Black women ages 18 to 20, one Black and Hispanic woman of similar age with long dark hair and a black jacket with gray sleeves, and one Black man estimated at 20 to 25 with a thin mustache, a black balaclava and a dark jacket.
- Investigators released surveillance images showing all eight individuals as they exited a train in the Loop.
- Authorities have not disclosed what was stolen or whether anyone was injured, and the investigation remains active.
