Chicago Police Release Homicide Suspect Video as Four Hurt in New Year Weekend Shootings, Teen Arrested in Stolen Kia Case

Detectives are asking for public tips to identify the Dec. 19 West Side gunman while several weekend shooting investigations remain open.

  • Other incidents included a 46-year-old hit in the leg by gunfire that pierced a window on South Homan Avenue, a 32-year-old struck in the elbow on West 38th Street, and a 58-year-old found shot inside a residence on South Lowe Avenue.
  • Police released video tied to a Dec. 19 homicide in Marshall Square in which a 23-year-old woman riding in a vehicle was shot in the head and later died at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
