• Investigators say the pattern spans Aug. 1 to Oct. 3 across Grant Park, the Loop, Wacker Drive, the Magnificent Mile, the New Eastside and Millennium Park.
• In each case, suspects targeted people who were alone and used physical force to take gold chains, necklaces or other belongings.
• The latest incident occurred Oct. 3 along the 100 block of North Michigan Avenue by Millennium Park, bringing the tally to at least 13 reported robberies.
