  • Chicago Police Department issued its second River North community alert Sunday after reports of late-night robberies targeting intoxicated patrons.
  • Authorities confirmed four violent attacks between June 16 and July 6 on the 400 blocks of North Wabash and North State and the 600 blocks of North Dearborn and North Wabash.
  • In each incident, suspects allegedly befriend bargoers with friendly conversation before beating them and stealing valuables.
  • Witnesses and reports describe one to three Black male suspects aged roughly 20 to 40 carrying out the robberies.
  • Investigators have made no arrests and are asking anyone with information to contact Area Three detectives at 312-744-8263.
