Chicago Police Issue Alert Linking Four Northwest Side ATM Burglaries

Overview
- Police connected four pre-dawn cases targeting business ATMs in Belmont Gardens, Avondale and Belmont Central on Dec. 30, Jan. 3 and Jan. 25, including two minutes apart on Jan. 3.
- The crew arrived in a possible late-model blue Acura SUV, with seven males described as 18 to 45 years old wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black sweatpants and black ski masks.
- Targets included businesses that were open and others that were closed, with the most recent incident reported on the 6000 block of West Fullerton Avenue.
- At least one incident involved handguns, and no arrests were announced as the investigation continues.
