Overview

• On August 12, Chicago police issued a missing-person alert for 22-month-old Paradise Johnson, who disappeared on June 27 from West Englewood’s 5600 block of South Marshfield Avenue.
• Police believe the toddler may be with her mother, Semaj J. Smith, and in an unidentified vehicle.
• Authorities caution she could be in danger and in need of medical care if found.
• Johnson is described as a Black female with a medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes, about 2 to 2½ feet tall and weighing between 30 and 40 pounds.
