Chicago Police Identify Man Killed in North Lawndale Hit-and-Run

The Major Accidents Unit is investigating Saturday’s early-morning crash with no arrests or vehicle description released.

Investigators say a black sedan struck Patrick K. Beck, 35, around 2:30 a.m. Saturday before fleeing the scene.
The crash occurred on the 1100 block of South Cicero Avenue near Roosevelt Road on Chicago’s West Side.
Paramedics transported Beck to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Authorities have not released a detailed description of the suspect vehicle and no one is in custody.
