Chicago Man Charged With Murder and Arson in Fatal Austin Blaze

A detention hearing is set after authorities charged Lontray Clark with killing four residents through an early-morning blaze that critically injured others in an Austin apartment.

  • The Chicago Police Department and ATF investigation led to Clark’s arrest in Springfield on July 9, and his detention hearing is scheduled for July 12 at the Leighton Courthouse.
