Chicago Man Charged in Serial Sexual Assaults Following Airport Arrest

Chakib Mansour Khodja faces 18 charges, including aggravated sexual assault and kidnapping, after a nearly three-year investigation into attacks across Chicago neighborhoods.

Chakib Mansour Khodja, 36, was arrested at O’Hare International Airport on April 7, 2025, as he returned from travel, reportedly from Algeria.
Khodja has been charged with 16 felonies and two misdemeanors, including aggravated sexual assault, kidnapping, and home invasion, tied to five attacks since 2022.
The assaults occurred in Chicago neighborhoods such as Logan Square, Lake View, and Humboldt Park, with victims ranging in age from 21 to 36 years old.
Investigators linked Khodja to the crimes using DNA evidence, video surveillance, victim statements, and the identification of his vehicle.
Law enforcement and prosecutors praised the resilience of survivors and emphasized their commitment to ensuring Khodja is held accountable as court proceedings begin.
