Overview

• Victim Darrin O. Carter, 46, was shot multiple times in the back inside his parked car on the 800-block of North Cambridge Avenue on Saturday morning and died at the scene.
• Chicago Police officers located and arrested 49-year-old Obbie Sanders about 20–30 minutes later on the East Wacker Drive ramp.
• Sanders faces first-degree murder and an additional murder count along with multiple misdemeanors, including fleeing and operating a vehicle without insurance, plus two traffic citations.
• He is scheduled for a detention hearing on Tuesday at the Cook County courthouse.
