• Seven people were wounded in a drive-by on the 3500 block of South State Street in Bronzeville late Saturday, and all were reported in good condition.
• At least four people were struck in another drive-by early Sunday on West Haddon Avenue in Humboldt Park, according to police.
• Around 1 a.m. Monday near Ellis Park on South Cottage Grove, five people were shot during a large gathering, including a 17-year-old in critical condition, as officers recovered four guns and questioned a person of interest.
• In a separate case from Thursday, 19-year-old Daniel Navas Maiver was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and attempted murder in the Canaryville shooting that killed 15-year-old Alex Durante and wounded a 12-year-old, authorities said.
