  • Charles Green, a 44-year-old convicted felon, has been charged with two counts of murder and aggravated arson for allegedly setting the fire that led to Meyer’s death.
  • Meyer’s name will be added to the fallen-firefighter memorial wall on Workers Memorial Day, commemorating his sacrifice and 28 years of service to the Chicago Fire Department.
