Overview
- Preparations for the NASCAR Chicago Street Race began June 19 and are now compressed into a 25-day construction window, down from 38 days last year.

- The racecourse layout remains unchanged, wrapping around DuSable Lake Shore Drive, Columbus Drive, Balbo Drive, Congress Plaza Drive, Michigan Avenue and Jackson Drive.
- Pre-race events kick off June 29 and include the Zac Brown Band concert on July 5 ahead of the Xfinity and Cup Series races on July 5 and 6.
- Maggie Daley Park, Cancer Survivor’s Garden and the Museum Campus will stay open, with CTA and Metra adding service and full track demobilization slated by July 14.
