Chevrolet Unveils New Silverado EV With Record 450-Mile Range and Heavy-Duty Towing Capability

Chevrolet has debuted its new all-electric Silverado EV pickup truck with a 450-mile range on a single charge and 10,000-pound towing capacity.
The truck has a 200+ kilowatt-hour battery and dual motors while maintaining an aerodynamic design with a drag coefficient of 0.331.
The Silverado EV Work Truck model starts at $77,905 and will be available for fleet customers within weeks, while a 350-mile range model starts at $72,905 later this year.
Reviewers found the Silverado EV fast, powerful and highly maneuverabile for towing and hauling thanks to instant torque from the electric motors.
While the large battery affects handling by adding weight , the Silverado EV is poised to meet the neeeds of commercial customers in a way other EV pickups cannot.
