Cheval Collection Signs Second Riyadh Serviced-Apartment Project for 2028

The expansion targets opportunities created by Saudi Arabia’s newly liberalised property market.

Overview

  • Cheval agreed with Ladun Investment Company to develop Cheval Maison – Sulaymaniyah near King Salman Park, a roughly 150‑unit serviced-apartment property slated to open in 2028 with construction expected to start in 2026.
  • The new site will feature studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments geared to long stays, plus a gym, pool with public memberships, and multiple dining options.
  • Cheval’s first Riyadh project is already under construction and is scheduled to open in 2027.
  • The company plans to launch up to seven projects across Saudi Arabia over the next three years, according to managing director Mohammed Alawadhi.
  • The Riyadh addition will join the Cheval DISCOVERY loyalty programme through Global Hotel Alliance, as the group taps strong demand from tourists and corporate guests for extended-stay accommodation.
