Cheteshwar Pujara Celebrates 36th Birthday Amidst IPL and Test Cricket Achievements

Despite Recent Absence from International Scene, Pujara's Contributions to Indian Cricket Lauded

Cheteshwar Pujara, the veteran Indian cricketer known for his heroics in Test cricket, celebrates his 36th birthday today.
Pujara made his IPL debut in 2010 for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and was part of the Chennai Super Kings squad that won the IPL trophy in 2021.
Pujara has been overlooked for recent red-ball series by the Indian team selectors, with his last appearance for India being in the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 final against Australia.
He recently became the fourth Indian cricketer to score over 20000 runs in FC career, joining an elite list comprising of Sunil Gavaskar, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid.
Despite his absence from the international cricket scene, Pujara's contributions to India's victories in Tests in Australia and England have been lauded by former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh.
