- Chester Zoo released first-look images as it prepares to open The Reserve on August 18, showcasing luxury lodges overlooking private savannah habitats inhabited by giraffes, zebras and blesbok
- Each sustainably built lodge accommodates up to 12 guests and features hand-finished interiors inspired by African landscapes
- Guests will benefit from exclusive out-of-hours zoo access, guided ranger-led morning and evening wildlife encounters, and behind-the-scenes experiences
- Stay packages start from £396 for couples and £684 for families, including valet parking, meals, two-day zoo entry and access to Amboseli Restaurant, Tsavo Lounge and lakeside firepit evenings
- As a not-for-profit venture, The Reserve is projected to draw 35,000 additional visitors, create about 70 jobs and reinvest over £10 million of annual guest spending into conservation projects in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and Madagascar
