Cher and Foreigner Inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

After years of public disputes and criticisms of the selection process, Cher and rock band Foreigner have been officially inducted into the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame class.

Cher and Foreigner have been announced as part of the 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, alongside other notable artists such as Mary J. Blige and Ozzy Osbourne.
Cher previously expressed strong reservations about joining the Hall of Fame, famously stating on a talk show that she would refuse even if offered a million dollars.
Foreigner's past exclusion was attributed by former singer Lou Gramm to a personal vendetta involving Rolling Stone's owner, which he described as 'juvenile'.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for October 19, 2024, at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio, and will be streamed live on Disney+.
This year's induction highlights a push for more inclusivity, with a diverse range of artists breaking musical barriers and influencing future generations.
