Chechen Leader Accuses Elon Musk of Remotely Disabling Cybertruck Used in Ukraine

Ramzan Kadyrov claims Tesla CEO deactivated the vehicle, which he allegedly received as a gift and sent to the front lines.

Ramzan Kadyrov, Chechen leader and ally of Vladimir Putin, accused Elon Musk of remotely disabling a Tesla Cybertruck that was being used in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Musk denied gifting the Cybertruck to Kadyrov, calling the claim absurd and stating that he did not donate the vehicle.
Kadyrov had outfitted the Cybertruck with a machine gun and publicly thanked Musk for the vehicle, which he claimed performed well in combat before being deactivated.
Despite the deactivation, Kadyrov announced he has sent two more Cybertrucks to the front lines, which he says are still operational.
The incident raises questions about how Kadyrov obtained the Cybertruck given the sanctions on Russia and Kadyrov specifically.
