Chase Scales Back Guaranteed 2¢ Redemptions at The Edit With Make‑Good Through Dec. 22

Chase describes Points Boost as a rotating, partner‑driven program that can reduce value on select hotel or flight bookings.

Overview

  • Chase changed Points Boost language for The Edit from a guaranteed 2x to “up to” 2x, and some properties now price around 1.67 cents per point.
  • The bank will proactively credit Sapphire Reserve cardmembers back to a 2¢ value for The Edit stays booked through December 22, with adjustments posted to Ultimate Rewards.
  • Credits apply to prior Edit bookings made below 2¢ and to new reservations made by the December 22 cutoff.
  • Customers must redeem at current portal rates, then receive a points make‑good bringing the effective value to 2¢ per point for eligible bookings.
  • Chase says Points Boost inventory rotates and has added options such as JetBlue premium cabin at 2¢ and many non‑basic economy fares at 1.5¢ across carriers including Southwest, Air Canada, Aer Lingus, EVA, Emirates, LATAM, Singapore, Qantas and United.
