Chase Elliott received 266,363 fan votes to win the National Motorsports Press Association Most Popular Driver Award for the seventh consecutive year.
The award, presented at the NASCAR Awards in Charlotte, has been dominated by the Elliott and Earnhardt families for 34 of the past 40 years.
Elliott emphasized the significance of carrying his family's legacy, with his father Bill Elliott holding the record for 16 Most Popular Driver titles.
Kyle Larson and Ryan Blaney finished second and third in the voting, while Justin Allgaier and Rajah Caruth won Most Popular Driver honors in the Xfinity and Truck Series, respectively.
The NASCAR Awards also celebrated Joey Logano’s third Cup Series championship and recognized contributions from figures like Greg Biffle and David Wilson for their impact on the sport.
