Charlotte FC Signs Wilfried Zaha on Loan from Galatasaray

The former Crystal Palace star joins MLS as a Designated Player with an option to extend his loan through mid-2026.

Wilfried Zaha, 32, has joined Charlotte FC on loan from Turkish club Galatasaray until January 2026, with an option to extend through June 2026.
Zaha will occupy a Designated Player spot on the MLS team's roster, alongside forwards Liel Abada and Karol Swiderski.
The Ivory Coast international brings extensive experience, having scored 90 goals in 458 appearances for Crystal Palace and represented his country in three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments.
Charlotte FC's general manager praised Zaha's versatility and potential to make an immediate impact in Major League Soccer.
Charlotte FC begins its 2025 MLS regular season on February 22 against the Seattle Sounders.
