Charlie Woods Misses Qualification for US Open

Despite a valiant effort, Charlie Woods, son of golf legend Tiger Woods, failed to advance in the US Open qualifiers, shooting a nine-over 81.

Charlie Woods, at age 15, competed in a local US Open qualifier but did not advance after scoring 81.
The young golfer tied for 61st among 74 competitors, with only the top five progressing to the regional qualifiers.
This marks another challenging attempt for Charlie, following a previous unsuccessful bid at the PGA’s Cognizant Classic.
Charlie has shown promise in other tournaments, notably winning a state high school championship with his team.
The US Open is set to take place at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 2 in North Carolina from June 13-16.
