Charles D. King to Receive PGA's Milestone Award
Founder and CEO of MACRO Recognized for Contributions to Film Industry and Representation of Diverse Voices
- Charles D. King, founder and CEO of MACRO, will receive the Milestone Award at the 2024 Producers Guild of America (PGA) Awards.
- King's company, MACRO, represents the voices and perspectives of Black people, indigenous people, and people of color, and has garnered 15 Oscar nominations since its inception in 2015.
- King was the first Black partner in William Morris Endeavor's 100+ year history and part of the first ever all-Black team of nominated producers for an Academy Award.
- King launched MACRO with the mission of amplifying the voices and perspectives of persons of color and has worked with a range of extraordinary producers, filmmakers, and artists.
- The 2024 PGA Awards will take place on Sunday, February 25.
