Charity Watchdog Bans Trustee Over Misused Donations

Michael Wynne-Parker disqualified for 12 years after nearly £200,000 meant for the King’s Foundation was diverted to his private company.

The Charity Commission found £193,730 intended for the King’s Foundation was misappropriated.
Michael Wynne-Parker was a trustee of the Mahfouz Foundation, which misused funds.
The Metropolitan Police investigated the cash-for-honours scandal but took no further action.
Other trustees involved were also disqualified and ordered to repay misapplied funds.
The Mahfouz Foundation and Burke’s Peerage Foundation have been removed from the charity register.
