Charity Lawson, former Bachelorette lead and contestant on Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) season 32, has been receiving online hate following her performance on the show, which her brother, Nehemiah Lawson, addressed on social media.
Despite receiving criticism from judge Carrie Ann Inaba during the finale, Lawson and her dance partner Artem Chigvintsev earned a score of 29 out of 30 for their tango and a perfect 30 for their freestyle cheerleading routine, landing them in fourth place.
Lawson suffered a jaw injury during the rehearsal of her cheerleading routine, which required a trip to the emergency room, but she was able to perform the routine during the finale, earning her a perfect score.
Lawson is looking forward to participating in the DWTS 2024 live tour and spending the holidays with her fiancé, Dotun Olubeko, in her hometown.
Xochitl Gomez and dance pro Val Chmerkovskiy won the season 32 Mirrorball trophy, with Jason Mraz and partner Daniella Karagach finishing as the runners-up, and Ariana Madix and dance pro Pasha Pashkov in third place.
