Jones was arrested at Logan Airport in June when firearms were found in his carry-on luggage.
Prosecutors dropped the charges after determining there was not enough evidence Jones knew the guns were there.
Jones had legally purchased the firearms in Arizona and was working to comply with Massachusetts' gun laws.
As part of the deal, Jones agreed to one year of pre-trial probation and 48 hours of community service.
Jones made the Patriots' roster, but may still face NFL discipline over the incident.
