- Chargers’ wide receiver Joshua Palmer has been placed on injury reserve due to a knee injury, which will see him missing at least four upcoming games.
- Palmer aggravated his knee injury during a game against Chicago Bears in Week 8; he is currently the team's second-highest receiver with 23 receptions and 377 yards.
- With Palmer and Mike Williams out due to injuries, the Chargers are expected to give more playtime to their first-round pick, Quentin Johnston.
- Jalen Guyton, who has been out since Week 3 of last season due to a knee injury, has been activated from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list by the Chargers. In his 38 games for the team, he scored six touchdowns and averaged 16.8 yards per catch.
- Defensive lineman Otito Ogbonnia has also been activated from the PUP list, while defensive lineman Christopher Hinton has been waived by the team.
