• Dodds has been with the Colts for seven seasons and has been a candidate for a GM spot for the past three years, interviewing with six teams.
• Ireland has been with the Saints for nine seasons, following a six-season run as general manager of the Miami Dolphins.
• The Chargers are also looking for a new head coach, with nine candidates having interviewed for the position, including University of Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh.
