Overview

• The BC Prosecution Service has approved a charge of driving without due care and attention against Cpl. Phillip DiBattista of the Central Saanich Police.
• The charge stems from a May 2024 incident where a marked police vehicle collided with a cyclist on Wallace Drive near West Saanich Road.
