Chappell Roan to Perform at Elton John’s 2025 Oscars Viewing Party

The Grammy-nominated artist will headline the annual fundraiser supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s mission to combat HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ stigma.

Chappell Roan has been announced as the sole performer for the 33rd Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on March 2, 2025.
The event, co-hosted by Elton John, David Furnish, Jean Smart, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Neil Patrick Harris, and David Burtka, raises funds for HIV/AIDS prevention, education, and care.
Confirmed attendees include Megan Thee Stallion, Hozier, Sharon Stone, Mick Jagger, and Sean Penn, with a Benefit Committee supporting the event.
Elton John praised Roan’s artistry and shared his guidance on navigating her rapid rise to fame, emphasizing the importance of creative autonomy.
The annual fundraiser has raised nearly $115 million since its inception in 1992, with last year’s event alone generating a record $10.8 million.
