Overview

• Channel 4 released production photos showing Blethyn as the older Emma Harte and Reynolds as the younger version.
• The series adapts Barbara Taylor Bradford’s bestseller as a period rags-to-riches story that traces Emma from 1911 Yorkshire to a New York penthouse.
• The cast features Emmett J Scanlan, Lydia Leonard, Leanne Best, Ewan Horrocks, Harry Cadby and Will Mellor.
• Scripts are by Katherine Jakeways with Roanne Bardsley as co-writer, and The Forge produces the eight episodes.
• Filming took place in Yorkshire, and Channel 4 has not yet announced a transmission date.
