Overview

• Production has started on location in Scotland for Maya, a Channel 4 psychological thriller led by Bella Ramsey and Daisy Haggard.
• The series follows a mother and teenage daughter in witness protection who relocate from London to a rural Scottish town under threat.
• Tobias Menzies plays Bobby, a dangerous figure from the past, with Ben Chaplin and Raphel Famotibe as hitmen Benji and Ted.
• Dame Harriet Walter and Tom Courtenay portray Maya’s grandparents, Nancy and George, with additional roles for Josie Walker, Stuart Bowman and Kiran Sonia Sawar.
• The 6×60 drama is produced by Two Brothers Pictures in association with All3Media International, co-directed by Jamie Donoughue, and currently has no announced air date.
