Overview

• Channel 4 has commissioned Number 10, with the order announced on the opening morning of the Edinburgh TV Festival.
• Steven Moffat will write and executive produce, joined by executive producer Sue Vertue, producer Lawrence Till and director Ben Palmer.
• Hartswood Films, part of ITV Studios, will produce the series, with ITV Studios handling international distribution.
• The drama focuses on the people who live and work in Downing Street, using an Upstairs Downstairs-style ensemble with a fictional government and real-world problems.
• Casting and a transmission date have not been announced and will follow in due course.
