• This presentation will be the first Métiers d’Art show under Matthieu Blazy’s creative direction since his appointment in December 2024.
• It will be Chanel’s first New York Métiers d’Art staging since Karl Lagerfeld’s 2018 Temple of Dendur showcase at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
• President Bruno Pavlovsky said he was delighted Blazy chose New York, adding that the city’s energy resonates with the house’s signature savoir-faire.
• Chanel will leverage its Paraffection subsidiary to showcase the work of specialist ateliers such as Lesage embroidery, Maison Michel millinery and Massaro shoemaking during its pre-fall presentations.
• The exact New York venue will be announced later as the brand gears up for its annual Métiers d’Art series.
